About the English Language Department
The BTI Modern Languages Department offers a wide range of courses designed to help students improve their language skills before, during, and after their studies.

English Skills Program (ESP)
A structured English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course that develops communicative, functional, social, and academic English.
IELTS & TOEFL Preparation Courses
Intensive training for students aiming to excel in standardized English proficiency tests.
Customized English Courses
Tailored English language programs for professionals, businesses, and specialized fields.
By enrolling in our programs, students can expect to:
Improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Understand strategies for achieving high examination scores.
Expand vocabulary, improve spelling, pronunciation, and grammatical accuracy.
Develop critical thinking, study skills, and time management abilities.
Students may be exempted from the ESP program if they meet the following requirements:
A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (valid within 2 years) or
A score of 170+ on Lingua skills by Cambridge.
For students who believe they should be placed at a higher level, an SOTI Challenge Test is available.
